Register the toolbar in Word

If you are using a fixed installation of Sprint and if the Sprint toolbar in Word does not appear after the previous steps, the toolbar needs to be registered. The procedure is the same for Microsoft Word 2010, 2013 and 2016. Older versions of Microsoft Word are no longer supported.

  1. Go through Settings > System to see if you are using a 32 or 64 bit system.
  2. Run the command prompt as Administrator. You do this as follows:
    • Click on the magnifying glass to the right of the Start icon and type “cmd,” right click on the icon that appears and choose “Run as administrator. A black window will appear.
  3. In the black window, type the following command (no copy/paste):
    • SprintPlus 3
      – On 32-bit systems: regsvr32 “C:\Program Files (x86)\SprintPlus 3\SprintWordAddin.dll”
      – On 64-bit systems: regsvr32 “C:\Program Files\Sprint Office Addin\SprintWordAddin.dll”
  4. Press Enter to confirm. A message appears if the registration was successful.
